A close friend will see danger lurking and warn you and that’s exactly what former Citizen TV news anchor Kirigo Ng’arua reportedly did by warning Jacque Maribe to stay away from Joseph ‘Jowie’ Irungu.
According to the Word Is, Kirigo got into trouble with Jowie after the latter found out she had warned Jacque against dating him.
This was way before the two were linked to the murder of businesswoman Monica Kimani.
The Word Is source was quoted as saying of Kirigo altercation with Jowie:
“Kirigo was the only one who saw through Jowie for who he was. There was a time she had a public altercation with him because Jowie found out she was telling Jacque he is not worth her love. This altercation coloured their relationship going forward.”
Maribe is locked up at Gigiri police station and it’s not clear if she will be witness or will be charged with being an accessory to the murder.
