A suspect is in custody Tuesday afternoon after an active shooter incident at a Texas elementary school, police said. "Shooter is in police custody," the Uvalde Police Department said on Facebook just after 1 p.m. local time. No other details, including the suspect's name and the number of those injured, were released. News of the suspect's capture came less than an hour after the Uvalde Consolidated Independent School District announced on Twitter that there was "an active shooter" at Robb Elementary. “Law enforcement is on site. Your cooperation is needed at this time by not visiting the campus. As soon as more information is gathered it will be shared,” the tweet said. The public was urged to avoid the area, according to the police department's Facebook post. Students were being taken to Uvalde High School for reunification with parents, police and the school district said. But the district asked parents not to pick up their children. "You will be notified to pick up students once all are accounted for," an update from the district said. The district's last day of school is Thursday. The shooting occurred after new FBI statistics released Monday showed active shooter incidents in 2021 surged by more than 50 percent from 2020 and nearly 97 percent from 2017. Uvalde is more than 83 miles west of San Antonio. This is a developing story. Please check back for updates.

Ivy Wangechi killer slips out of Coma and spills the beans on why he killed her
A heartbreak occasioned by frequent disappointments is what Naftali Njahi Kinuthia, 28, claims is the key reason he fatally hacked 25-year-old Ivy Wangechi, a Sixth Year medical student at Moi University main campus.
In his Wednesday testimony to the Eldoret East DCI boss, Ali Kingi, Kinuthia claimed he had invested money and emotions in the woman, but his love and financial kindness wasn’t reciprocated as per his expectations.
“The accused said he used to send the woman some money. The girl, according to the suspect, had told him that she was organising her birthday party, which would happen soon. He said he sent her some money to arrange the event. Since then, the woman refused to pick his calls, said the suspect. That is what prompted him to travel [from Thika] to Eldoret. He said he wanted to know why she was ignoring him,” Eldoret East DCI boss Mr Kingi told EDAILY in an exclusive interview Wednesday.
“When he [Kinuthia] arrived in Eldoret [Monday], the woman continued to decline to pick his calls. He said it got to a point where she switched off her phone. According to him, that angered him prompting him to look for an axe and kill the girl. We are still waiting for him to give more details after he is discharged from hospital,” said Mr Kingi.
“He said it wasn’t his first time coming to Eldoret, and that he used to visit her often in the past. He said he visited her last Friday, and their meeting was brief. According to him, the girl told him that she was going to her residential place to take off her professional attire. She told him she would be back. However, upon reaching her residential place, the woman switched off her phone, effectively blocking her planned meeting with him,” revealed the Eldoret East DCI chief.
“He said that also provoked him into returning to Eldoret[on Monday] to try speak with the woman.Upon returning to Eldoret, the man said he felt despised by the woman when she refused to pick his calls. From our sources, the suspect bought the axe and knife in Eldoret. They were sharpened in Eldoret. We’re yet to interrogate him further. Once he is stable, he will be taken to court,” said Mr Kingi.
The DCI chief says Ms Wangechi’s parents knew the suspect, and that he has been their family friend for long.
“The girl’s parents say they knew the suspect. He used to visit them often, and is a family friend. They were also shocked why Kinuthia killed Ivy. The suspect and the deceased knew each other since childhood.”
On the viral claims that Ivy infected Kinuthia with HIV, the DCI boss said: “He [Kinuthia] hasn’t spoken about the HIV claims. Once we interrogate him, we will find out more information in regard to that, and medical reports would prove that.”
Mr Kingi says Kinuthia, a Thika resident, works with one of the Kenyan betting firms.
He drove to Eldoret in a personal vehicle of registration plate KCB 838P, which the DCI says they are yet to establish who owns the car.
“His phone was found in the car. We are yet to know if he regrets his actiona, or it was something he fully planned,” said Mr Kingi.
The Eldoret East DCI boss says Ivy’s postmortem examination is slated for Wednesday, and that the suspect would, “most likely be discharged tomorrow (Thursday, April 11)

Ivy Wangeci a 6th year medical student, was brutally murdered by naftali Njahi Kinuthia a businessman based in Nakuru.

"kama Ivy amekufa now mnaeza niuua Mimi sasa" loosely translated to mean, if ivy is dead you can as well kill me aslo.

Naftali Njahi Kinuthia has been identified as the killer of Ivy Wangeci, who was brutally murdered yesterday in cold blood.
Wangeci and naftali had been in a relationship before Wangeci broke up with him.

Naftali did not give up, he persistently stalked and disturbed her by phone calls and text messages hoping she will return to him.
But that was not forthcoming, naftali also senting her gifts and money but Wangeci was not interested in him anymore.

The disturbance increased forcing Wangeci to change her phone, but still naftali was able to get her new number from friends.
Feeling tired of naftali constant disturbance, Wangeci sent a friend to tell Naftali that she was now engaged and was about to be married soon.
This is the statement according to friends that angared naftali.
He traveled 350 km from Thika to Eldoret just to kill Wangeci.

The advise to young ladies is that sponsors are all infected with HIV. Their work is to ruin marriages and relationships. And this is a risk which is not being addressed by the mainstream media.
We should not be quick to judge or demonize anyone, but instead concentrate on the underlying issues. Let's stop beating around the bush.

They couldn't watch her suffer :Husband and wife commit suicide after only child diagonised with terminal disease
Cases of suicide have risen in Kenya. A husband and wife have both committed suicide following sickness of their only child.
According to a local daily the couple sought the last resort action, after the child was diagnosed with brain cancer.
According to the local daily, the names of the couple are Mr Kanuno Tano and wife is Amina Juma.they are from igombe village
The wife Amina juma was the first to kill herself, she took an overdose of pills before sleeping.
When the husband tried to wake her up in the morning she was already dead.
Police arrived, few minutes after report of the death was made. They took her to a nearby mortuary.
Even before they reached the mortuary, they received reports that the heartbroken husband has hanged himself in a nearby forest.
The two leave behind a sickly child.

Pastor Nganga was driving a red range rover. After the collision a woman died. The family of the woman began legal proceedings and Nganga ended up in court.
He hired the best lawyers to ensure that he is not put behind bars.
Nganga hired lawyer assa nyakundi. Nyakundi successfully represented his client and he was acquitted by judge Massey Pauline Omungala.
Now both lawyer assa nyakundi and Pauline omangala are locked up.
Nyakundi murdered son in a case he claims he accidentally shot him and on the other hand Pauline omangala is being charged as the master mind of the brutal murder of her husband.
