Cases of suicide have risen in Kenya. A husband and wife have both committed suicide following sickness of their only child.
According to a local daily the couple sought the last resort action, after the child was diagnosed with brain cancer.
According to the local daily, the names of the couple are Mr Kanuno Tano and wife is Amina Juma.they are from igombe village
The wife Amina juma was the first to kill herself, she took an overdose of pills before sleeping.
When the husband tried to wake her up in the morning she was already dead.
Police arrived, few minutes after report of the death was made. They took her to a nearby mortuary.
Even before they reached the mortuary, they received reports that the heartbroken husband has hanged himself in a nearby forest.
The two leave behind a sickly child.
