Bensouda latest action which will see Ruto prosecuted again in ICC again

DP Ruto's Ambitions For 2022 Face Hurdle As Dynasties Resurrects ICC Case,Bensouda Call
Deputy President William Ruto's State House ambitions may face more hurdles should the ghosts of the 2007/8 post-election violence return to haunt him.
The office of the prosecutor at the International Criminal Court has been relentlessly but quietly piecing together fresh information on the violence, which left more than 1,300 people dead and hundreds of thousands displaced.
In the latest ICC annual report submitted to the United Nations General Assembly, it emerged that chief prosecutor Fatou Bensouda continued to receive information related to the case in the past year.
Although details about the information remain confidential, investigations have been ongoing despite termination of the cases.
"The office of the prosecutor continued to receive information on the commission of crimes against humanity during the post-election violence of 2007—2008,” states part of the annual report on the ICC activities in 2017/18.
The report was submitted to UN General Assembly by ICC President Chile Eboe-Osuji who was on the bench that handled Mr Ruto’s case.
The case against the Deputy President and former radio journalist Joshua Sang, was vacated by a majority decision in April 2016 due to lack of incriminating evidence but the judges rejected an application of acquittal by the accused.
Earlier in March 2015, President Uhuru Kenyatta’s case was terminated in similar circumstances.
However, the judges stressed that the prosecution, which said the cases were weakened by witness interference and lack of support from the government, would be at liberty to revive them in future.
The report which was submitted during Mr Eboe-Osuji’s official mission to the seat of the UN in New York on Thursday, added that other investigations concerning witness interference are on.
Warrants of arrest had been issued against Mr Walter Barasa, Mr Paul Gicheru and Mr Philip Kipkoech, who the prosecution said convinced witnesses to withdraw from the case facing Mr Ruto.
According to the Rome Statute, interfering with witnesses is a criminal offence.
While addressing the UN General Assembly, Mr Eboe-Osuji called for more effort to support the court, which is often criticised over interference with the sovereignty of countries when carrying out its mandate.
African leaders have often accused the court of targeting people from the continent, a charge ICC denies.
“There are many reasons to insist that the mere existence of this permanent judicial mechanism for accountability truly serves as an inconvenient obstacle to the freewill of those inclined to engage, even unwittingly, in conduct that creates the circumstances that conduce to crimes of atrocity. That modest value is enough of a return on the ICC investment,” he said.
Recently, the court was criticised by the US regarding investigations on crimes against humanity by American soldiers in Afghanistan, terming ICC as “fundamentally illegitimate”.

Stop early campaigns jubilee party vice chairman warns Ruto

Jubilee party chairman has further widened the cracks in jubilee party after saying deputy president Ruto should stop early campaigns and Kutangatanga movement.

Jubilee vice chairman David Murathe said Ruto’s allies disregarded the president’s directive against 2022 campaigns.
Murathe said leaders from Mt Kenya have remained civil, despite some grievances that they have against the DP’s lieutenants.
“You will be surprised some of the voices that should be discordant are from Mt Kenya. We are having issues with some of our own MPs from Mt Kenya. We are having issues with some from the DP’s backyard,” Murathe said on KTN on Monday night
“When you go to an area and all you speak about is 2022, it is upsetting some of us because it will distract the President from achieving his promises to Kenyans,” he said.
“Our manifesto pledges have to be fulfilled within four years. We don’t have time to start politicking barely six months after the Over 6 months after October repeat poll" he was quoted by the star.

His remarks are widening a frosty relationship between Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto.

What Uhuru meant on Ruto anatanga tanga video

A video surfaced online yesterday of Uhuru Kenyatta seemingly asking deputy president Ruto to help him reach out to kenyans.

Here is what the president Saud in the speech circulated by kenyans.
President Kenyatta said:
“Hii kijana anaitwa Ruto unajua kila weekend anatangatanga kila mahali… atakua anapitia hizi machorochoro mkiona kuna kitu inaenda konakona mumuambie. Tuhakikishe kazi ya wananchi imefanyika… Tumekubaliana? Wangapi wanasema tuache siasa tuende kazi?” Uhuru Kenyatta sai

Loosely translated: “The Deputy President comes around these areas a lot and if you see anything wrong with the progress of the project you can inform him. Let us ensure services are delivered to Kenyans.”

What actually the president meant was that the projects which have been launched will be supervised.
Ruto has been assigned role to be supervising most of jubilee projects on behalf of the president, so the president meant that you will be seeing the deputy president more on the ground as jubilee work hard to deliver their big four agenda.

Kiswahili is not a straightforward language compared to English so Uhuru Kenyatta message was distorted by many to mean that Uhuru Kenyatta urged Ruto to stop politics.

Uhuru Kenyatta was only saying William Ruto will be more in the ground launching and supervising jubilee projects.

A revolution is building in kalenjin Community,Here is Joshua Kutuny powerful message to Ruto and other kalenjin leaders

Joshua Kutuny has issued a powerful message to the kalenjin Community ahead of 2022 Elections.
Here is Kutuny message to the kalenjin Community he shared on his Facebook page.

"My advise to our Kalenjin MPs, Governors, Women Rep's, Senators and MCAs; Kindly rethink on your style of politics.
A silent revolution is quickly building up in Kalenjin nation and is spreading fast unless you smell the coffee.
As we rally behind DP William Ruto ahead of 2022,we should go the extra mile as leaders and unite, then bring our people together to speak in one voice.
The maize saga is the icing on the cake. Your politics of criticizing NASA leader Raila Odinga or Gideon Moi/KANU or throwing cold blows at your partners in jubilee over 2022 politics no longer impresses the Kalenjin Nation.
Kalenjins are seeing Turkana Governor Josphat Nanok and his colleagues bargaining for 25% share of oil proceeds.
They are aware Maasai collect nearly all revenue from Maasai Mara, they are aware their brothers are soon getting an industrial zone in Naivasha.
It is time you bargain for lasting peace in Baringo and bargain for share of geothermal power in Silale and push for resources to promote mass tourism to lake Baringo, Bogoria and Kerio Valley.
Support pineapples production in Bureti/Kericho and help small scale tea farmers in Kericho, Nandi, Bomet and Kuresoi/Nakuru to improve on the quantity and quality of their produce.
Support farmers in Trans Nzoia, Bomet, Kericho, Nandi, Uasin Gishu, Keiyo, Baringo and Nakuru. Set up intense zero grazing/dairy projects and form cooperative societies to bargain for milk prices.
Help the Pokots to get royalties on their limestone and possibly oil and open up Tiaty as the new tourism destination.
Help the community understand the importance of conserving Mau forest and assist the Marakwets to be the leading producer of fruits in Kenya......
Our rallying call should be unity of purpose in the socio economic and political sphere.
Atleast I have told you. It is not too late however to walk the talk

7 reasons Why Ruto will be our next president

WSR is the only solution at our disposal.
1. He is young.
A young person will synchronize different ideas, be innovative enough and travel across the world for networking and building good economic ties for our country!
2. Good experience.
William Ruto has served different presidents at different capacities. He has had a good experience in the cabinet serving different ministries and now the deputy president.
3. Patience
Ask me the most patient man and I will bet on him. He has had his fair share of betrayal but he has never let go. He's risen the political ladder by learning how to be patient!
4. He's a hard worker.
Serving different ministries may be nothing but improving them is another! WSR has worked even harder in helping president Uhuru govern this country.
5. He has no name behind him.
DP. Has no name behind him! He's come from nothing to something. He's an inspiration to the many poor students in our society today. He's however beaten his political competitors who's fathers were high and might.
6. He is unbeatable.
WSR has since proven beyond reasonable doubt that he is destined to win! No matter the number if enemies, he's beaten them anyway.
He took the rift when everyone thought it was Moi's. He took down the ICC case when most thought he will be jailed.. He faced another bull in 2013 together with Uhuru Kenyatta when they were seen to be young and inexperienced!

He immediately released his helicopter, which he had used with his Director of Communications Emmanuel Talam, to pick the patients.

The DP’s helicopter went to a Nanyuki airstrip where it picked the wounded woman and her children and headed to Nairobi.
To accommodate the patients, some seats were removed from the helicopter to create space for a stretcher where the mother lay.

“He (Ruto) was touched by the incident and since he was in Laikipia, he decided to offer his chopper to take the injured to hospital. It is a normal humanitarian and rescue intervention,” said Mr Taalam.
Talam further said the DP ordered the three patients be taken to Nairobi Hospital.
