According to The Nairobian, Ruth Akinyi can not afford the posh lifestyle she once had before separating with her wealthy husband. She now been reduced to waking up very early to go and prepare matumbo and chapatis for her customers who visit her a small hotel along Mombasa Road.
She started toiling like any other Kenyan to make ends meet.
She went from living a lavish lifestyle in Karen to preparing chapati and matumbo and other cheap food for construction workers along Mombasa road.
She left behind an expensive restaurant in Karen owned by Raphael tuju to start a small hotel along Mombasa road to make ends meet.
Court documents during their divorce show that Raphael tuju was willing to pay her 200,000 monthly upkeep but he was worried she was going to use the money with her young lovers.

Yesterday Kenyans witnessed the most brutal murder this year.

Ivy Wangeci a 6th year medical student, was brutally murdered by naftali Njahi Kinuthia a businessman based in Nakuru.
Kinuthia had traveled all the way from thika to Eldoret just to commit the heinous crime.
As he was being beaten by the mob, Kinuthia was shouting
"Aliniambukiza! Aliniambukiza!"
The man was shouting with bitterness as he was receiving treatment that the lady infected him with HIV among other things.
As he was being wheeled to the emergency room, Kinuthia made it clear that if Wangeci is dead then he can now die peacefully himself.

As he was wheeled into the emergency room, to be attended to by doctors who knew Ivy, sources say that he said these words:
"kama Ivy amekufa now mnaeza niuua Mimi sasa" loosely translated to mean, if ivy is dead you can as well kill me aslo.

Naftali Njahi Kinuthia has been identified as the killer of Ivy Wangeci, who was brutally murdered yesterday in cold blood.
Wangeci and naftali had been in a relationship before Wangeci broke up with him.

Naftali did not give up, he persistently stalked and disturbed her by phone calls and text messages hoping she will return to him.
But that was not forthcoming, naftali also senting her gifts and money but Wangeci was not interested in him anymore.
She even bought her and expensive phone,Wangeci wanted to return the phone but her friends advived her to keep it.
The disturbance increased forcing Wangeci to change her phone, but still naftali was able to get her new number from friends.
Feeling tired of naftali constant disturbance, Wangeci sent a friend to tell Naftali that she was now engaged and was about to be married soon.
This is the statement according to friends that angared naftali.
He traveled 350 km from Thika to Eldoret just to kill Wangeci.

The country is shocked after the brutal murder of a 6th year medical student Ivy Wangechi, at the hands of her boyfriend who is said to have driven from Thika to Eldoret carrying nothing but an axe.

The boyfriend is said to have been angry after discovering that his girlfriend was HIV positive, and that she had transmitted it to him.

This is the life of Kenya today. Young girls go to moneyed sponsors whose demand is sky-high, get money and HIV and then come to retransmit it to their boyfriends. The decimation of an entire generation.

Until the culture of sponsorship and exchange for sex with money ends, this state of affairs will eradicate our young people. Greed and pursuit for vanity triggered by Instagram, is driving ladies to aspire for a life that older prostitutes are living.

The prostitutes who don't need to be named, have created this fictitious facade and turned a whole generation of young ladies into pseudo sluts.

Due to the fact that moneyed men are lesser in this Uhuru economy which has been brought to its knees due to the corruption.The Kenyan economy is currently one of the toughest since independence.

Those few rich sponsors who throw money around are in high demand, being chased by a high turnover of women, putting them in the high-risk category as regards to HIV prevalence.

It's this unfortunate situation that Ms. Ivy Wangechi found herself in, torn between maintaining sexual ties with her sponsor and being loyal to her boyfriend. And with that, created this mess that we are witnessing today.

The advise to young ladies is that sponsors are all infected with HIV. Their work is to ruin marriages and relationships. And this is a risk which is not being addressed by the mainstream media.

We should not be quick to judge or demonize anyone, but instead concentrate on the underlying issues. Let's stop beating around the bush.

It's not common practice for someone to just drive and hack someone. The issues must have been very weighty and without access to advise and/or counselling, one is bound to do something stupid.

To avoid a similar circumstance, we must now address the issue of sponsors infecting young girls with HIV.
It is now emerging that she might have deliberately infected the young man with HIV after getting it from a sponsor who was funding her high end lifestyle.

Preliminary reports show it was a murder triggered by jealous.
The suspect was in love with ivy but ivy was in love with someone else.

Cases of suicide have risen in Kenya. A husband and wife have both committed suicide following sickness of their only child.
According to a local daily the couple sought the last resort action, after the child was diagnosed with brain cancer.
According to the local daily, the names of the couple are Mr Kanuno Tano and wife is Amina Juma.they are from igombe village
The wife Amina juma was the first to kill herself, she took an overdose of pills before sleeping.
When the husband tried to wake her up in the morning she was already dead.
Police arrived, few minutes after report of the death was made. They took her to a nearby mortuary.
Even before they reached the mortuary, they received reports that the heartbroken husband has hanged himself in a nearby forest.
The two leave behind a sickly child.

Jacque maribe and jowie, her fiance were locked up late last year and were the main suspects in the murder case.
Jacque maribe was released on bail as Jowie continues to Rot in kamiti maximum prison.

Yesterday, Jacque Maribe had her first major win in the case. Her car sss was released.
In early statement prosecutors had argued that they will continue holding the car as part of evidence.
But witness, Majorly from a recce officer who was with jowie the night of the murder did not place the car in the murder scene.

Few years ago, Pastor Nganga was facing grave charges after his car was involved in a head on collision with another car.

Pastor Nganga was driving a red range rover. After the collision a woman died. The family of the woman began legal proceedings and Nganga ended up in court.
He hired the best lawyers to ensure that he is not put behind bars.
Nganga hired lawyer assa nyakundi. Nyakundi successfully represented his client and he was acquitted by judge Massey Pauline Omungala.
Now both lawyer assa nyakundi and Pauline omangala are locked up.
Nyakundi murdered son in a case he claims he accidentally shot him and on the other hand Pauline omangala is being charged as the master mind of the brutal murder of her husband.
This is barely one year after they acquitted pastor nganga murder charges.

Money Power and influence play a major role in campus politics. Samuel ayoma was one of the main contenders for nairobi University chairmanship position.
His closest rival was ann Mwangi mvurya who won the elections. It was a surprise win for anne as no woman has ever won sonu chairmanship position. SONU has since been rebranded as UNTSA.
Few days before the election, Samuel ayoma was seen in the company of Nasa leader Raila Odinga.It is understood he received blessings from leader ahead of the the voting day.
Some have linked his lose to Raila Odinga who has never won a presidential election 4 times in a row, despite being a clear front runner in three of them.

Detectives investigating the murder of businesswoman Mary Wambui Kamangara believe that her husband’s ex-mistress, Ms Judy Wangui, plotted the murder, and she meant to also get back at his family after he dumped her.

Joseph Kori, recorded a statement with the police supporting the allegations, and the prosecution picked him as a witness as police seek to strengthen the case.

Oliver Nabonwe , the investigator, in a sworn affidavit, told Judge Christine Meoli that Wangui and Kori had an affair but by the time of Wambui’s murder the two had parted ways.

According to the investigator, the break-up might have led to Wangui’s action where she is also alleged to have targeted Kori and his children.S

“We have established that on January 25, Wangui was stalking the deceased’s family and had spent time trailing them at their residential house at Safari Park estate,” Nabonwe told the court.

The detective also observed that the release of the accused on bail or bond would not guarantee the safety of the Wambui’s family.

“That the first accused (Wangui) and the deceased’s husband (Kori) were in a love triangle as at the time of the murder, the first accused had parted ways with Joseph Kori Karue.

“The first accused was hence targeting him and his family,” detective Oliver Nabonwe told Lady Justice Christine Meoli in a sworn affidavit.C

The relationship is said to have lasted about two years. According to reports, Kori met Wangui at a car wash in Thindigua where she hawked snacks and rented her a two-bedroom, Ksh60,000 a month apartment at Fourways Junction.

Kori also bought her a Mercedes Benz identical to his wife’s, and which is currently the subject of an ownership row after he accused her of illegally transferring it to herself when they were both in custody.

Wangui and her co-accused Michael Githae, a car hire dealer, were charged with killing Wambui at the former’s residence at Fourways Junction Estate on Kiambu-Nairobi Road.

They allegedly did this by clobbering her on the head with a pressure cooker before strangling her on the night of January 26/27,2019.

President Uhuru Kenyatta's social media pages were on Friday deleted.
It was not immediately clear the circumstances under which the Facebook and Twitter pages were all deleted barely two hours after the President wrote of his displeasure with corruption.
"If you are corrupt we will fight you. You can be my brother or my sister or my closest political ally, but if you are corrupt we will fight you,” the President said early on Friday morning.
President Kenyatta has hitherto been the head of state with the largest social media following in Africa.

More revelations of calculated theft for resources meant for the construction of the Kimwarer and Arror dams in Elgeyo Marakwet county emerged yesterday after detectives seized 48 double-cabin vehicles reportedly diverted from the project.

The cars were bought for transport services in the construction of the two dams but were diverted to private use.

Seizure of the vehicles came on a day that reports emerged that the files on the two projects had now been taken to the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) to decide on the way forward.

Officials privy to the probe said the Sh21 billion probe files were taken to DPP Noordin Haji’s office at the weekend with recommendations to prosecute a number of government officials.

On Saturday and Sunday, officers attached to DCI seized four dozens of the new vehicles. Some had been diverted to undertake similar works at the stalled controversial Itare Dam in Nakuru county.

A total of 30 vehicles were seized at a parking lot at Mitchell Cotts Building in Nairobi while 18 others were traced at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA).

Among those who have been questioned include National Treasury Cabinet Secretary Henry Rotich, top Kerio Valley Development Authority managers led by the chief executive David Kimosop and a number of suppliers of goods and services for the construction of the dams.

Parking lot at Mitchell Cotts Building belongs to. Opposition leader musalia Mudavadi, we don't know if he leased it or 8s directly involved in the Scandal.

According to information reaching us, a vocal Rift Valley senator who has been busy defending the project was allocated 2 of the cars.

The cars allocated to him were being driven by the wife.
