The political supremacy between deputy president William Ruto and Moi son Gideon Moi has Taken new twist after Gideon Moi blocked Ruto from seeing Former president Moi.
Ruto had gone to kabarak and Waited close to 3 hours outside Mois home before being told he won't meet Moi.
Deputy President William Ruto was on Thursday forced to wait for close to two hours to meet former President Daniel Moi after he paid him a courtesy call.
But the scheduled meeting came to naught after Mr Ruto was told he couldn’t meet Moi as he had a doctor’s appointment.
Ruto, accompanied by Energy Cabinet Secretary Charles Keter, Ainabkoi Member of Parliament William Chepkut and and Lawyer Stephen Kipkenda visited Moi at his Kabarak home in Nakuru.
Ruto was told that Moi had a doctor's appointment but those privy to the information from kabarak said that Gideon Moi does not want any political truce between Moi family and Ruto.
Reconciliation between Moi family and Ruto will hurt Gideon Moi chances of taking over rift valley Kingship from Ruto.
Gideon Moi and Ruto are main contenders in the upcoming 2022 poll.
