Noordin is the son of Garissa Senator Yusuf Haji. He has had a career spanning many years at the National Intelligence Service and is currently a senior director.
He has been credited to being very strict in his job and has always vowed to go for the big fish who always escape prosecution.
When he was appointed on March Harji vowed to deal with the 'big fish', who have been evading justice due to their deep pockets and influence in the society.
Mr Noordin Mohamed Haji, who was being vetted on March by the Justice and Legal Affairs Committee of the National Assembly, said he will prosecute all criminals equally, if he gets the position.
He today proved his stance on big fish after he started prosecution of over 54 NYS suspects who will be arraigned in court Tomorrow.
Here is his message to those who will be prosecuted tomorrow.
“The public servants will be charged with offences including conspiracy to commit an offence of corruption, willful failure to comply with applicable procedures and guidelines relating to the management of public funds, breach of trust, willful neglect to perform official duty, abuse of office, fraudulent abuse of public property and payment from public revenue for goods not supplied,” he said."
He was one of the top performing while national intelligence service and he is expected bring transformation in this new sector as director of public prosecution.

Write commentsHarji, is on the right truck of dealing with corruption cases. I would only wish that he doesn't do it selectively, politically or under influence or take directives from some quarters. Otherwise I wish him well.
