Noordin Harji the director of public prosecution has said that 10 charges will be opened against the NYS suspects.
The director of public prosecution has said that the 54 suspects will be arraigned in court as from tomorrow.
40 being government officials while 14 being business men.
Here is list of charges to be levelled against them.
1. conspiracy to commit an offence of corruption
2.willful failure to comply with applicable procedures and guidelines relating to the management of public funds
3.breach of trust
4.willful neglect to perform official duty
5.abuse of office
6.fraudulent abuse of public property and payment from public revenue for goods not supplied.
7.looting of public funds
The prosecutor will open the charges against the suspects tomorrow .
