Machakos Governor Alfred mutua has spoken about the planned peoples assembly in ukambani region.
Mutua wondered why NASA decided to bring the event to machakos and leave other counties which have NASA Governors.
Ukambani region leaders have said that they will convene the peoples assembly idea in machakos after passing it in all counties in the region.
Mutua wondered why the leaders had to choose machakos over other regions.
Here is what he posted in social media.
"I have heard that the NASA leadership is coming to Machakos for a rally. That is their constitutional right. I am just wondering, how come they never go to Makueni County where they have a NASA Governor or Kitui County where one of the NASA Principals hails from? Just wondering."
Although machakos members of county people passed the peoples assembly, mutua will not sign it to make it official since mutua is a jubilee affiliated governor and one of the most working Governors in the country.
