National Super Alliance (NASA) leader, Raila Odinga, has revealed to insiders that he is in constant communication with President Uhuru Kenyatta.
He said they are currently taking about the new role he will play inside the Government with his agenda of Building Bridges Initiative.
According to a senior Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) official who requested anonymity to avoid reprisals from his boss, Raila told him that Uhuru has assured him a position in his Government as he continues to unify the nation.
"Obviously the partnership will see him coordinating various Government functions in Ministries.”
“It is part of the agreement," said the ODM official
A Luo Nyanza MP, who is also a close confidante of Raila, said:
“It is just a matter of time that we have some few changes.”
“Chief Cabinet Secretary post will allow him to serve Kenyans before retiring."
This new development is bad news to Deputy President William Ruto and his lieutenants who are opposed to Raila Odinga’s presence in Government claiming he is rocking the 2022 presidential boat of Deputy President William Ruto.
