National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Odinga finally accepted he was defeated in the 2017 presidential election.
In a video seen by TUKO.co.ke, Raila uses a swahili saying to concede defeat to President Uhuru Kenyatta, days after the two leaders agreed to end dissent and work together to heal the country following the hotly contested elections
Asiye kubali kushindwa, sio mshindani (He who does not accept defeat, is not a competitor)," he said as Uhuru watched and burst into a joyful laughter.
Raila disputed the August 2017 election of Uhuru and succesfully convinced the Supreme Court to nullify it and a repeat poll ordered.
Uhuru won with a landslide in the repeat poll held on October 26, 2017 in which Raila boycotted alleging it had already been rigged.
