Renowned NASA strategist and adviser to NASA leader Raila Odinga,Professor Oeri Tumbo, has died over suspected heart attack.
His nephew and Kitutu Chache South MP,Richard Onyonka, confirmed his demise at a local WhatsApp group, Kisii County Forum on Wednesday.
“It is with deep sorrow I pronounce the death of my uncle, mentor, and top political adviser Prof Oeri Tumbo,” Onyonka said in a brief statement.
“Until his death, he has been a loyal NASA supporter and chief strategist. He will be missed dearly.”He added.
Throughout NASA campaigns last year,Prof Tumbo served along with David Ndii, Hamida Kibwana, Dr Mutakha Kangu, Oduor Ong’wen, Koitamet ole Kina among other top NASA strategists.
He frequently appeared at the KTN News as a panelist where his support for the former Premier and NASA plans would be broadly discussed.
