Kilifi county Governor amason kingi will lead a host of Mombasa leaders in mass exodus from Raila Odinga party to form their own new party, kingi who was speaking during the weekend said that odm has not represented them well in previous elections and their needs as a region have not been addressed.
Kingi said most of the problems affecting residents can only be addressed if the region has its own political party.
“In 2022, we'll not join any party. We'll build our own house with enough bedrooms to accommodate all of us. Borrowing from others has brought us many problems,’’ Kingi was quoted by the star.
Kingi and joho are expected to unveil a brand new party before end if this year to address problems facing them and to ensure they get a say in 2022 coalition before elections.
He will join other leaders who have already defected from ODM the second most popular party in the country
