Trump adminstration has urged NASA leader Raila odinga to drop his swearing in bid.
On Monday, US Ambassador to Kenya Robert Godec met Leader of Minority in the National Assembly John Mbadi and his Senate counterpart, Moses Wetang’ula, to try to persuade them not to support the idea of swearing in Raila and Kalonzo.
Godec called for national dialogue that would culminate in inclusivity and strengthening of independent institutions this was as reported by standard Kenya.
USA, Israel and European Union want Raila odinga and Uhuru Kenyatta to hold talks in order to foam and inclusive government.
Raila odinga is currently planning his swearing in ceremony And Will be sworn in on January 30th if dialogue does not take place .
President Uhuru Kenyatta has maintained that he will not hold talks with the opposition chief.
