USA ambassador to Kenya Godek has issued new statement to opposition leader Raila odinga to embrace structural dialogue and avoid the threats and intimidation against the government.
Odinga had threatened to swear himself in December 12 but has postponed to January 28.
He made it clear that Uhuru Kenyatta should be given humble time to deliver on his promises to Kenyans and that elections ended in 2017.
Godel said uhuru should be given tine to deliver his promises to Wananchi especially the four pillars which include Infrastructure, Education, Health and Housing.
“The election season is over and its time for the country to move forward and develop the country, help the president attain his four pillars. But there are some issues that must be done conclusively, in order to bring the country together.”Godec said
Raila odinga swearing ceremony has been opposed by most western countries with USA leading the forefront in telling odinga that elections are over.
Odinga boycotted October 26 poll hoping to lead the country into election crisis but his plan failed terribly as elections was held and Uhuru Kenyatta win upheld.
