Deputy president William Ruto has told off those pushing for unity government or nusu mkate government with opposition.
Over the weekend a section of the media reported that Uhuru Kenyatta was being pushed by The USA government to form a unity government with the opposition.
Deputy president William Ruto has said that such arrangement will not take place under jubilee government.
Ruto was speaking during the burial of 3 bishops who perished in embu road accident.
Ruto said that Kenyans need a break after a very long and tiring electioneering period and it was in interest of Kenyans to move on from such a gruelling and tiring election period.
“We spent a whole year politicking something that only benefited the politicians and if we continue with the same trend we will short-change Kenyans, instead of building the nation,” Ruto maintained.
He said that jubilee government will not hold talks with opposition on elections and they will not discuss sharing government with NASA.
Raila and kalonzo have threatened to swear themselves unless Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy president William Ruto hold dialogue with them before end of this month
