Acting education cabinet Secretary Fred matiangi has issued statement saying all school buses be painted yellow before April this year.
He also set time for school buses to be traveling.
"School buses time of travel is 6am-6pm. I hereby direct the police to ensure that all the school buses operate from 6 am to 6 pm only," stated the CS.
This move comes in the wake of fatal accidents witnessed over the holiday period.
Matiangi has also directed that those interfering with principals transfers will be dealt with brutal force.
