Amos Leeda Olempaka was one of the key officials in ODM national executive committee, he was Secretary general in charge of humanitarian and disaster management.
His resignation comes as he sights no reward from the party despite him being loyal to raila odinga since 2007.

“I have reached this conclusion due to the fact that I felt my personal and community’s steady and unwavering support to the party has not been appreciated since 2007.
"The promises made to me and the community have never been fulfilled,” stated Olempaka, in a letter addressed to the ODM CEO.
Olempaka faulted the recent nominations to the East African Legislative Assembly (EALA) saying the process was discriminatory.
“The recent EALA nomination is a good indication of being unfairly and rudely ignored. This step I am taking is in solidarity with my supporters and community members who have advised me to protest on their behalf,” he as quoted by a local media house.
His resignation comes as odm have no clear plan after postponing swearing in of Raila odinga.
