Please let's dialogue Raila now begs Uhuru

I am ready for dialogue, says Raila
Opposition leader Raila Odinga has said that he is ready to
hold dialogue with President Uhuru Kenyatta to discuss the
way forward a day after withdrawing from the October 26
fresh presidential election.

Speaking on Radio Jambo on Wednesday morning, the
opposition leader however, dismissed speculations that he is
aiming for a coalition government between NASA and
Jubilee. “We need to solve our own problems and I am ready to hold
talks with anyone so that we can get a solution to the current
stalemate,” said the NASA principal.
The NASA leader also condemned the government for
withdrawing his security, saying it was a clear indicator that
President Kenyatta’s administration does not want the
opposition to participate in the repeat poll.
“They didn’t even write a letter to notify me when they would
be withdrawing my security detail and it was in the middle of
the campaign. We even needed more officers,” said Raila.
He added that the campaign funds that NASA raised from
Kenyans have already been spent in campaigns.
Raila is set to travel to London on Wednesday evening for a
public lecture.
