Following his remarks, the elders demanded respect from the NASA flag-bearer and warned him not take his campaigns to the Kano region in Kisumu.
Kisumu Governor, Jack Ranguma, who is defending his seat using an independent ticket comes from Kano.
The elders have said Raila should not impose candidates to them and They will vote for who they think best serves their interest.
"Uhuru Kenyatta is also a candidate.If Raila continues frustrating us we will vote for uhuru" the elders warned.
