But investigators had not pieced the evidence together.
When he was summon by Detectives last week, Obado claimed that he was At Nairobi during the day Sharon was brutally murdered. He seemed off the hook that time with a strong alibi.
But unknown to okoth obado, detectives were looking and tracing his phone signals before and during the day Sharon was murdered .
Migori Governor Okoth Obado’s mobile phone was traced to Homa Bay on the day Rongo University student Sharon Otieno was murdered and not Nairobi as he had told detectives early this week.
This clearly makes him one of the prime suspects.
A detective who spoke in condition of anonymity also confided that the phone signals were traced to kodero forest where Sharon was murdered.
Okoth obado might not have any place to hide anymore.
He will be charged in court on Monday with a key witness , a taxi driver who has spilled the beans about the murder cases.
