Uhuru will win in First round poll sponsored by Atwololi shows

President Uhuru Kenyatta is a clear favorite to win the in the forthcoming elections if a new poll sponsored by CUTO secretary general Francis Atwoli and conducted by two university dons is anything to go by.
According to poll that was conducted by UoN Professors, Uhuru takes the lions shares of votes, followed by Raila Odinga at 55.1 percent and 35.1 percent respectively.

This in turn means if elections were conducted today, Uhuru will avoid a re-run as he meets the 51 percent threshold to be crowned the President.
DP William Ruto and Cord co-principal Kalonzo Musyoka performed dismally with 2.3 percent apiece.
This poll seems to go in tandem with an earlier report released by Ipsos (December 21) that showed Uhuru would get 51 plus votes compared to Raila’s 22 percent.
Atwoli was quoted by the Star as saying:
58 percent youths and 42 percents adults were involved in the survey.
On December 21, Ipsos released a poll showing that Uhuru would get 50 per cent of the vote while only 22 per cent of respondents said they would vote for Raila.
The researchers said almost all respondents had gone through some formal education, with only 0.4 percent without any formal education.
