I feel for Jackie Maribe. I said this and I'll say it again.
The trending story of Jackie brings a lot of emotions. It's a circumstance of a girl who has worked so hard in life to be someone, and after a lot of hard work in building her career, she falls in love with the wrong kind of man.
No one is able to tell the real character of the partner, because most people comes into your life a disguised self.
Jackie is a victim of love and maybe to her, it was true love. Especially if this guy pretended to be better than saints in heaven with much love than that of Jesus dying on the cross for us.
Jacque maribe today decided to be charged alongside jowie simply because she is scared.
Jacque maribe father advised her not to turn state witness because her life will be in danger.
If Jacque maribe had turned a state witness she will live in fear because jowie irungu accomplices would have hunted her down immediately she is released and murdered her because she is testifying against Jowie.
Unfortunately, the media is so much focusing on Jackie, even more than the actual suspect. With just an aim to taint her imagine and ruining her career.
But there is an aspect they and we all forget. Today it's me tomorrow it's you. None of us is 'misfortune proof'.
But no storm lasts for a lifetime. Jackie's storm will slowly calm one day.
And the big questions to the media guys and to us is; "Was it right to do that to a friend? Was it necessary to celebrate the downfall? Are you a true friend?"
I stand with Jackie because out of love, anyone can fall into the hands of the worst kind of person!
Instead of condemning her, we should pray that justice will prevail for both late Monica and those who might be innocent.
