Garissa Governor has been arrested, the Governor was arrested and taken in for questioning over an attempted murder.
The Governor was taken in for attempted murder of former Garissa county finance county minister.
Idris Aden Mkutar was shot in the head by a three-man gang outside a hotel in Kileleshwa, Nairobi on Monday, August 20.
He was shot in the head but still managed to survive, the people who shot him trailed him in a motorcycle after he left the mosque for prayers.
Two other suspects, believed to be hired assassins, have been arrested and are being held at Kilimani.
