The KSh 1 billion house on the hill, a pristine palatial home to the NASA leader has been called, albeit unofficially, Raila’s statehouse.
The house, which Raila hoped to use as his State House, is standing on several acres of land. It has 10 bedrooms, four expansive kitchens, two main conference rooms, two small conference rooms and several offices.
In addition, the KSh 1 billion house has an Olympic size swimming pool, several Jacuzzis and a helipad big enough to have two choppers landing at a go!
Raila came under heavy criticism after he questioned William Ruto source of wealth and said that Ruto should account for every penny he owns yet he himself is a billionaire.
Raila odinga is among the top 10 richest kenyans with net worth of over 1 billion us dollars.
Ruto on his part questioned Raila odinga intentions saying that he is rich but helps people while Raila odinga uses his money to develop himself and quoted the 1 billion house.
Raila odinga plans to use the house to receive visitors when they visit his rural home and will be his retirement home.
