Raila odinga has said that kenya will hold a referendum whether Ruto likes it or not.
Speaking in Mombasa where he met ODM leaders Raila said that it is time to change the Constitution to meet the requirements of all kenyans .
"we want a kenya where an elmolo ,Pokot or even a Muslim can be president and not the big 5 tribes only.'
Raila also said that it is not time for people to randa randa or tanga tanga looking for votes and dishing out money saying that he knows the deputy president salary and it does not enable him to move around campaigning for 2022.
Raila said that once the committee finalizes it's finding ,it will tell them the way forward and everyone has no option but follow it ,if they say that kenya needs a referendum.
Raila odinga and Uhuru Kenyatta formed a committee after the famous handshake to come with a framework for uniting kenyans.
