On January this year Polycarp Igathe who was the Nairobi deputy governor resigned citing irreconcilable differences between him and his boss Mike Sonko.
The Former Nairobi County Deputy Governor Polycarp Igathe has landed a lucrative job at the Equity Bank.
Igathe has joined Equity Bank as its Chief Commercial Officer only four months after resigning as Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko's deputy.
Igathe resigned from his post in January after he claimed that he has failed to earn the trust of Governor Mike Sonko to enable him work at the county.
Since Igathe resignation Sonko has struggled to make an impact on the city, Igathe who run with sonko was expected to run the technical part while sonko deals with politics.
His resignation has dealt a big blow to sonko who has been criticized of late for failing nairobians.
