Mutua presidential bid received a major boast after wiper deputy leader Endorsed his bid to run for president.
Kibwana gave his Machakos counterpart the go-ahead to hunt for votes in makueni county.
"If Mutua comes to Makueni, we will welcome him 100 percent, now and even in future. Both Mutua and Kalonzo are hunting and they should be given a chance to capture something for our Kamba nation," Kibwana said.
This was a major blow to Kalonzo who had been given the go ahead to be the ukambani kingpin ahead of 2022 election.
Mutua on his part promised to deliver the presidency to the kamba people.
He said his main reason for vying for the seat is to ensure development to every corner of the world.
"Who said a Kamba woman cannot give birth to a president, this is our chance to capture the top seat," Mutua said.
Mutua joins a list of those interested in the presidency with Ruto a clear favorite.
