Bill to make Raila Odinga second in command with two deputies introduced

Raila Odinga might not be going for an international job after all.
Mr Odinga had been  fronted to take an international job with offices in Ethiopia, the job was a Kenyan diplomat in EU.
But that seems it will not happen, Mr Odinga will now be a chief minister according to latest bill introduced in Parliament.
A chief Minister will be in charge of all government cabinet secretaries and has functions just like a prime minister.
The bill has been prepared by Dr Washington Makodingo - a Jubilee operative who is associated with Nairobi Senator Johnson Sakaja.
“ The President shall nominate and, with the approval of the National Assembly, appoint the Chief Minister and cabinet secretaries,” the proposed law reads in part.
It also seeks to ensure ethnic diversity in the Cabinet by stating that there will be no more than three members of the Cabinet shall come from the same ethnic community.
The bill has stated that the Chief Minister, who will have two deputies to assist him in his duties, will be tasked with the role of coordinating and supervising the execution of the functions and affairs of the government, including those of ministries according to a local news outlet.
