Jubilee Party Secretary-General Raphael Tuju on Thursday stated that the government has no intention of changing the structure of the Executive to create new positions.
Tuju was addressing reporters after meeting members of the Nyandarua Assembly and Executive Officers.
“There are those talking about the possibility of having a different Executive structure. But as far as we are concerned, and at this point in time, our focus is jobs, opportunities for our young people and prosperity for our people,” Tuju stated.
They have said that they don't intent to create new positions for anybody or restructure the executive to accommodate anyone.
Tuju might have been referencing to calls by a section of jubilee leaders and opposition leaders to create a prime minister position.
The biggest beneficiary of the position might be Raila amollo odinga who has been pushing for referendum change.
This means also that after talks between jubilee and odm Are over, Raila will not be part of government but will be a statesman who will give government advice from time to Time.
