High Court Judge George Odunga of the Milimani Law Courts in Nairobi finally moved to the Machakos High Court on Wednesday.
Justice Odunga was transferred to the Machakos station in February by Chief Justice David Maraga . The notice outlined that the transfers would officially begin on April 4, 2018.
The Judicial Review Division judge made a name for himself after issuing summons to top government officials to appear in court in the height of miguna saga.
Odunga summoned both cabinet secretary matiangi and inspector of police boinett but they failed to turn up, he later fined them 200000.
Odunga is known for his controversial rulings including rulings against iebc in Run up to October 26 poll.
