Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru on Thursday gave a subtle comment on the
ongoing saga surrounding her deputy by congratulating Kakamega boss Wycliffe Oparanya for creating an 'enabling environment.'
Although she did not mention anyone by name, Waiguru seemed to aim a sly dig at her deputy who was caught in a compromising situation with an unknown woman.
"While we are at it, we need to thank Kakamega Governor Wycliffe Oparanya for providing an enabling environment for a 24-hour economy during this devolution conference.
"Like how Raila Odinga said yesterday, a lot can happen in the night time," she remarked amid bursts of laughter from the delegates.
