National Super Alliance (NASA) strategist David Ndii has announced that they have decided to suspend the People's Assembly process .
Addressing a press conference alongside other members of the People's Assembly Steering Commmittee, Ndii explained that they had decided to suspend the process to allow for talks between President Uhuru Kenyatta and oposition leader
Raila Odinga.
Ndii, however, maintained that the dialogue must be honest and with the interests of the people at heart.
"We have been assured that this initiative will be about the people, will involve the people and will be validated and owned by the people. But we are alive to the painful history of political betrayal," he stated.
"Every Kenyan should come out and hold these leaders accountable, You didn't see any of us at Harambee House ," ODM Executive Director Oduor Ong'wen noted.
Ong'wen explained that the 2 leaders had a unique opportunity to honestly commit to solving long-standing issues that NASA had vowed to address through the People's Assembly.
