US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson arrived in Nairobi on Friday ahead of talks with President Uhuru Kenyatta and Opposition leader Raila Odinga.
Among the key issues expected to be addressed during the meetings include counter terrorism; peace and security; good.
He is expected to meet both opposition leader Raila Odinga and Uhuru Kenyatta.
In a rare show of unity Raila Odinga and Uhuru Kenyatta met today and pledged to work together to ensure that the unity of the country is paramount.
Uhuru Kenyatta said that he expects that the meeting will ensure that Kenya moves forward together as united front.
Tillerson is expected to visit a host of African nations to foster better relationship between Africa and USA.
