President Uhuru Kenyatta has reportedly agreed to give NASA leader, Raila Odinga, a new job, two weeks after meeting him at Harambee House.
According to State House sources, Uhuru has agreed to appoint Raila Odinga as Kenya’s special envoy who will be moving across the world selling Kenya and making the voices of Kenyans heard globally.
As part of the deal, Raila will have special offices in Addis Ababa, where the African Union sits.
"He will have an office in Addis Ababa where he will coordinate with the African Union," a source said.
In his new role, Raila will be accorded treatment similar to that of a Head of State and the same was manifested in Kisii on Friday where the County Police Commander was in charge of his convoy.
Back at Nairobi, the ODM leader is expected to occupy offices in Harambee House where Uhuru sits, a claim which his confidants have however denied.
