Khalid Ahmed, husband to CS Ambassador Amina Mohamed
Mr. Ahmed and CS Mohamed married in 2002. They have two children and care for four orphans. Mr. Ahmed speaks several languages fluently and is an industrialist who studied at one of the Ivy League universities.
She was a foreign affairs cabinet Secretary from 2013-2018 and was appointed cabinet Secretary for education this year, a docket she is expected to hold up to the year 2022.
