Elgeyo Marakwet Senator, Kipchumba Murkomen, has asked President Uhuru Kenyatta to create the Office of the Prime Minister for the NASA leader, Raila Odinga.
Speaking at the burial of ODM Treasurer, Olga Karani’s father, Murkomen described Raila as a selfless leader who puts the country’s interest before his own.
This follows a deal reached by Raila and President Uhuru Kenyatta to work together for the sake of the country.
He added that an office should be created for Raila with a good pay so that he serves the country well.
“I have been on record telling people that Raila Odinga is a respected leader who has seen ahead, even beyond 2022.”
“That is why we want him to be given an official office with good pay so he can serve Kenyans,” Murkomen said.
