Raila Odinga yesterday shocked everyone including other NASA principals by appearing in harambee house and holding talks together with Uhuru Kenyatta and pledging to work together.
But what pushed raila Odinga to abandon his call for new elections and join hands with jubilee?
It was kalonzo and wetangula who worked tirelessly to paralyze Raila Odinga activities.
Odinga came up with national resistance movement ,an outfit which could have caused economical sabotage and forced the government to hold talks with opposition about electoral justice.
Odinga was in final stages of implementing the national resistance movement when kalonzo musyoka came back from Germany and opposed the idea completely. He even threatened to pull out of NASA if Raila does not abandon the national resistance movement idea.
After that Raila Odinga came with swearing in event, Kalonzo and wetangula although were for it in public, they opposed it in private.
Kalonzo Even went ahead to tell Raila Odinga to publicly endorse him for 2022 in order to support the idea, Raila endorsed him in machakos.
As the day for swearing in approached, all NASA principals except mudavadi who was neutral ganged up against raila and left him alone.Raila being a man took the oath by himself.
Wiper also started demanded ODM positions in parliament and senate or pull out.
With all this betrayal Raila decided the best option is to work with jubilee to unite Kenyans.
