Uhuru Kenyatta is set to remain longer in power if new bill is passed into law.
Tiaty Member of Parliament Kassait Kamket has drafted a Bill seeking to amend the Constitution so that Kenya can have one presidential term of seven years
The president will be nominated by parliament according to the bill.
If the bill is passed uhuruto team can continue serving Kenyans together until 2032 without looking for new partners like they had planned.

If the bill is passed the position of deputy president will be scrapped and opposition Leader position re introduced.
According to the bill the president will have ceremonial power with no real power while The prime minister will serve as a member of the National Assembly and will be leader of government business besides having executive powers.
In the bill the prime minister will be more powerful than the president.
