Moses Kuria has told charcoal traders and sand traders going to ukambani region to pass through his officers and pick up guns before going to ukambani region.
Here is what he shared.
"Whereas Governor Charity Ngilu may have a point on the issue of charcoal trade, asking the locals to take the law into their hands is illegal, unconstitutional and primitive. There must be mechanisms to enforce any national and county laws within the confines of law and order. We need to abide by the law. In the meantime I am asking all charcoal and sand traders to pass by my office and pick up a few machine guns before you travel to Kitui County."
