South African president Jacob Zuma has resigned as the country president.
Zuma was under pressure from ANC the main political party to resign because of corruption allegations and abuse of office.
South Africa parliament was scheduled to vote on motion of no confidece tommow but that idea will be postponed.
Deputy ANC party leader will take over and will be sworn in on Friday.
