United States of America have come up with an idea to end the long political stalemate in the country.
Sources privy to the ongoing negotiations have revealed that USA want Raila odinga to be given a statemanship job complete with power trappings.
According to the Daily Nation, some allies of Mr Odinga have claimed that there is a plan by the US was to elevate the position to that of the hierarchy of the State, complete with the trappings of state power.
The US wants the position to come with an office, a motorcade, staff and a commensurate package that will allow Mr Odinga to travel the world promoting Kenya’s image and giving talks on democracy.
Odinga is said to have rejected the offer but seriously considering it because of the ongoing stalemate in swearing in ceremony events.
Odinga swearing in plans have been hit by stalemate after NASA principals led by kalonzo musyoka rejected the move saying it amounts to high treason and it is not written in the constitution.
Raila odinga might take the offer since it elavates him to status of A vice president in terms of power trappings and privileges.
