Uhuru park closed indefinitely ahead if NASA swearing in ceremony

Sonko the Nairobi governor has closed off Uhuru park indefinitely ahead of NASA swearing in ceremony.
No events will be held in the park indefinitely until further notice.
In a message published in all local media houses sonko said that the park will be renovated in the next few weeks before events are allowed in the park.

“Notice is hereby given to the general public that Uhuru Park Grounds is scheduled to undergo phased improvement works in order to enhance usefulness to its visitors,” read a notice by Acting County Secretary Leboo Ole Morintat.
Closure of Uhuru park comes after NASA leaders led by Raila odinga said that they will held their swearing in ceremony in the park.
This could have jeorpadised events in the cbd as police and protestors clashed to maintain law and order.
NASA will have to move the event to another place..
