Matiangi has demanded an apology within 7 days from the standard over an article they wrote which described an unknown minister having an illicit affair outside their matrimonial bed.
the article went ahead to describe a non nonse, outspoken and strict christian having bought a house for one of church choir ladies he has fallen in love with.

According to the letter we have seen matiangi lawyers claim that the article has many false claims about the cabinet Secretary.
The article made several high defamatory, false and unsubstantiated claims without bothering to provide a shred of evidence at all. The net effect was to defame, disparage and vilify an innocent public servant in the eyes of his peers, family and right-thinking members of the public,” stated the letter.
