Two days ago,Nairobi deputy Governor igathe resigbed, Sonko Was left baffled as he did not see this coming.
According those near the Governor, Igathe resignation greatly shocked sonko who had hoped to transform Nairobi with the help of his deputy.
Sonko has not posted on his social media page since the incident.
Murkomen has drafted a bill to amend the constitution to allow Governor sonko and nyeri governor to appoint New deputy governors.
If approved, the Bill will give the Governors yet another chance to appoint their deputies and present the name to county assembly for approval, in just 14 days after the said office fell vacant. The final occupant to of the office, the bill proposes, would have been grilled by the parliament.
If approved sonko will be able to appoint a new deputy Governor to help him in his agenda in the capital city which he promised naorobians.
