Idea Odinga has finally revealed why she missed her husbands swearing in ceremony.
In a message to the standard ida Odinga said that she was attending to her sick daughter and thus could not make it to the much publicized swearing in ceremony.
"I was not physically present at Uhuru Park but I was with them in spirit," she told The Standard yesterday morning.
ida Odinga was attending to rosemary Odinga who was sick ever since last year after she developed a brain tumor while campaigning for her husband.
She was rushed to south Africa for treatment and later returned back to the country where she is recuperating..
Mrs Odinga refused to divulge on more details about her daughters health but she maintained that she is receiving treatment well.
