Gideon Moi, son of former President Daniel arap Moi, has clarified that he will not be joining President Uhuru Kenyatta's new cabinet as earlier reported by a section of the media.
In a twitter post shared on Tuesday, January 9, the Baringo county senator categorically stated that he was not interested in a cabinet position and will not consider it even if he was to be offered one.
"I will not take up a cabinet slot if I was offered one. I believe I will serve the people of Baringo county better as senator," he said earlier today morning

He says he will serve best the people of baringo county as a senator and not as a cabinet Secretary.
