Kenyans today were surprised with 3 picks to Uhuru Kenyatta cabinet.
No one saw those present in the list coming as most people expected veteran politicians in the list.
The surprise in the president’s picks to fill cabinet slots is Director of Public Prosecutions Keriako Tobiko, who has already submitted his resignation to State House in readiness for a cabinet appointment.
Former Marsabit Governor Ukur Yatani and former Turkana Senator John Munyes are also headed for Uhuru’s new cabinet.
This year cabinet will contain 23 names with already 9 names picked.
Uhuru Kenyatta is expected to pick his other 13 names from a selected poll of names which is now undergoing consultations.
He is expected to name new list before Friday next week.
