Ababu namwamba having lost in the previous election has been given a new position in Uhuru Kenyatta new cabinet.

Here is the new role for ababu namwamba.
Namwamba was named as a Chief Administrative Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs , working under Monica Juma who was appointed the Cabinet Secretary.
The President created the new role stating that the CASs will broadly be responsible to help Cabinet Secretaries to run affairs of the ministries.
Namwamba will be above a permanent Secretary as he will be directly involved in running day to day activities in the ministry.
Namwamba joins other leaders who were appointed in the same capacity including Rachael shebesh
