Maraga warning to Raila and other likeminded politicians

Supreme Court today issued their final verdict about the October 26 poll.
Petioners had claimed that since 7 constituencies had not voted the elections were null and void
Maraga on His part noted.

"The petitioners claimed there was widespread violence sponsored by the state and intimidation by state agencies. They also claimed some citizens blocked others from exercising their democratic right of casting the ballot"

In replying to this Maraga and other judges said that this cannot be grounds for nullification of election.

They noted that some privates citizens and politicians had incited people to cause violence and it was not The state.
The regions which did not vote were odinga strongholds and maraga remarks were to show that Raila odinga was responsible for violence in his strongholds.

They also noted that IEBC made effort to ensure that voting takes place but the violence made them call off the elections.
IEBC was not responsible for the violence but it was the opposition.

The judges noted that If they nullify the elections because no voting took place In certain constituencies  then in future politicians will block voting  from taking place and then blame rush to court and want elections nullified on that ground.
